There are 3 school beneficiaries of the Dictionary Project by the Rotary Club of Ikate.
1. New Era Girls Secondary School
2. Sanya Junior High School
3. Aguda Junior Grammar School was the first to be commissioned on the 26th of August. It witnessed the presence of Rotarians alongside the president of Rotary Club of Ikate, Mr Ishado Emmanuel. The Principal of Agruda Junior Grammar School, Mrs Blessing Ekwua described the project as a laudable one which can help the pupils in school works.
The dictionary stand was placed where the students can easily access it so as to learn atleast one new word a day.
Rotran Ishado Emmanuel, further stressed the importance of having the dictionary stands in schools. The project will further be commissiond in two other schools in Surulere, namely, New Era Girls secondary school, and Sanya Junior Secondary School respectively by September.
