Faze, African China shut down Ebute meta at Elder O annual Comic Relief show

 

It was supposedly a Comedy show, but as usual musical acts spices it up. Faze and African China were part of the music performing acts. They obviously stole the show with electrifying performances. The originality crooner stepped on stage dressed on Black to match while African China also thrilled the crowd with his popular songs such as crises, if you love somebody and more...   

The rave of the moment, Elder O and other comedians such as Koffi da guru, MC Shaggy, Tomene, etc also performed their favourite jokes with warm ovation.  

INSTALLATION OF ROTARIAN ISHADO EMMANUEL AS THE 35TH PRESIDENT, ROTARY CLUB OF IKATE

The 35th President, Rotary Club of Ikate, Emmanuel Ishado might have hit the ground running by carrying out different projects already. This may be justifying his official installation ceremony which comes forth on the 6th of November 2021. The ceremony will take place at NAPTIN Hotel, 67 Adelabu street, Surulere Lagos. Time is 12PM prompt. 

Chairman of the day is Barrister Tolulope Aderemi, Special Guest of Honour is Barrister Oladele Ojugbede. Guest Speaker is Engr Mrs Ekuase Egbe.

A visit to Old People's Home by Rotary Club of Ikate

 As part of the on going humanitarian projects, the Rotary Club of Ikate visited Old People's Home Sabo Yaba Lagos Nigeria. Upon the visit of the District Governor, the club led by the president, Ishado Emmanuel donated food and domestic items. Who the Crown fit, Prisca became Miss Amnesty Entrepreneur

 

Miss Prisca Onyinyechi Johnson from Owerri North LGA in Imo State emerges Miss Amnesty Entrepreneur in the just concluded Miss Amnesty Beauty Pageant organized by Tracy Mcwary Foundation @ Landmark Hotels GRA, Port Harcourt Rivers State.

Miss Onyinyechi Prisca represented Imo State in the conquest. 

Others who shined are contestants from Bayelsa, Rivers and Ondo, but Miss Prisca obviously was outstanding, grabbing the prestigious tittle "Miss Amnesty Entrepreneur" a 3rd Runner up position.

Sexy Paaty Kizomba wins September Salsa Dance competition at Ojez

The mesmerizing Paaty Kizomba and her partner win this months Salsa competition at Ojez, Railway Recreation Centre Ebute Meta. 

There were also second and third positions, all went home with cash prizes. The competition happens every last Tuesdays of the month.

Face of Lagos Mainland Contest might have come and gone yet the Crown is still one of the latest in town. Held at the newly commissioned Ojez Railway Guest House, Ebute Meta on the 11th of September 2021. It was the maiden edition with some glamourous moments especially the crowning of the new beauty queen. 

Just like so many other Pageants, gossip has it that the organizers chose the queen outside the contest. It is however believed that there are critical reasons behind the decision of who becomes the queen, an ambassador to the Pageant brand.  

Railway Guest House completed and glamorously commissioned at Ebute meta

There may be many Guest houses, Hotel & Suites in the heart beat of Ebute meta, but this one unarguably stands out. Built with sense of class and 5 star touches. The Railway Guest house was commissioned on the 1st of September 2021 by  Engineer Musa, Chairman, Nigeria Railway Corporation. The Facility is officially managed by Ojez Entertainment, a Hospitality and Entertainment part of the Ojez Group. 

Railway Guest House is visibly located opposite Railway Recreation Centre, 3 Ondo street, Ebute meta, beside the Lagos Mainland Local Government Council. The guest house is lighted up with streets lights by the facility managers, the Ojez Group. Adequate security is also provided within and around the neighborhood. 

Among the Railway Corporation officials who spoke on the commissioning, Engineer Musa shed light on the genesis of the project and the journey towards it completion. Responding, the Ojez Group gladly accepted the responsibility of managing the facility with utmost commitment in maintaining a high standard of hospitality services as known over the years. 

The event did not fail to pull the who is who in entertainment industry as it witnessed the presence of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) president, Emaka Rolas who was accompanied by Segun Arinze and entourage. 

Others include, the recently elected AGN Chairman, Lagos, Emeka Rising as well as Mr Lucky of the Johnson’s Family who was the Master of Ceremony (MC). 

The Oruka crooner, Sunny Neji was also present among other entertainment icon. Ace Journalists / Broadcaster such as Effiong Nyong, Michel Obi among others also graced the event. 

The Chairman of Ojez Group, managers of the Railway Guest House, Chief Joseph Odebeatu was visibly happy to welcome the guests at the commissioning of the project.  

In other news, the Railway Guest House is officially open to all hospitality seekers as well as those in need of a home away from home. The rooms are equipped with luxury beds, warm, hot, cold bath shower as well as Jacuzzi at the executive suites. 

First class furniture is the simple description of the walldropes, reading tables, and even cussions also at the executive suites. The high functioning television sets are wired with different channels to make visitors relax, entertained, and be informed. 

The intercom enables one to connect with the Reception, Kitchen or even Security at just a dial. 24 hours electricity is also a priority, with internet WiFi to keep visitors connected while in the guest house.  

Above and more are what makes the newly commissioned Railway Guest House at Ebute Meta, a place to be. 

Aguda Junior Grammar School takes lead in commissioning the DICTIONARY project by Rotary Club of Ikate.

There are 3 school beneficiaries of the Dictionary Project by the Rotary Club of Ikate.

1. New Era Girls Secondary School 

2. Sanya Junior High School 

3. Aguda Junior Grammar School was the first to be commissioned on the 26th of August. It witnessed the presence of Rotarians alongside the president of Rotary Club of Ikate, Mr Ishado Emmanuel. The Principal of Agruda Junior Grammar School, Mrs Blessing Ekwua described the project as a laudable one which can help the pupils in school works. 

 The dictionary stand was placed where the students can easily access it so as to learn atleast one new word a day. 

Rotran Ishado Emmanuel, further stressed the importance of having the dictionary stands in schools. The project will further be commissiond in two other schools in Surulere, namely, New Era Girls secondary school, and Sanya Junior Secondary School respectively by September. Rudeboy Paul Okoye and wife breakup saga

Since after news has it that the marriage of Paul aka Rudeboy of the defunct P Square band, and Anita Okoye is about to hit the rock, it still seem like a rumour which we wish it is. Following the activities of Paul on his Instagram page @iamkingrudy, it is further suspected to be a rumour as he carries on calmly promoting his newly released solo album titled Rudykillus. 

However it seems like his fans knows more than he (Paul) is telling them. This is noticeable by the fans reaction in the comment  box when a photo of Anita posted by Paul with the caption “Happy mothers day”. Some of the fans commented, asking him to remove her photos from his page jor. Another simply quarried why Anita is asking for too much in regards to child support which suggests a confirmation of a filed devours. 

There are other posts which shows that his heart may be deeply broken if it is true that Anita has become like a book that has left the shelve, that is if the divorce moves is true. Despite how busy Kind Rudy as he fondly call himself is, he endeavored to celebrate his wife and children in his posts. 

Meanwhile apart from the father’s day post, reverse seems the case with @anita_okoye ‘s as her posts are concentrated on herself and children.

 

It is also natural that she support her husband’s current project, the Rudykillus solo album, but that is yet to be seen happening, atleast not yet on her Instagram page. In her recent post in faraway Atlanta USA where she is currently located with the children on vacation, she said “sometimes you have to get knocked down lower than you have ever been to stand up taller than you ever were”. 

In another post with the children, she even captured the presence of Cameron @cameronokoye1, the son of Peter, her husband’s separated twin brother. One cant help but wonder if the handwriting on the wall is clear enough. However we hope the divorce news remains nothing but a rumour.

ROTARY CLUB OF IKATE ON A BACK TO BACK SUMMER PROJECTS

After successfully completing several projects in the past, the 2021 Summer has become a season of back to back humanitarian projects by the Rotary club of Ikate. On Saturday 14th of August, the yearly  Tree planting excercise took place at Ajigbeda Girls High Secondary School, Surulere Lagos. Barely two weeks after here comes another one, commissioning of DICTIONARY PROJECTS between Rotary Club of Madras Temple City, Indian and the Rotary Club of Ikate, Surulere Lagos. Date is set for the 26th of August 2021, by 10 AM. 

Like the saying goes “YOUR CHILD DESERVE TO LEARN ONE NEW WORD TODAY”. Beneficial schools include Aguda Secondary School Surulere Lagos, New Era Girls Secondary School Surulere Lagos, and Sanya Secondary School, also in Surulere Lagos.
