host a Tribute Night on the 11th of August 2023 at the Civic Centre, lekki. The
event was attended by the actor’s estranged wife and 3 children, as well as the
entire Nigeria movie Industry who were represented in different categories. AGN
Lagos state chapter Chairman, Emeka Rising organized and led the Road walk
while the national President, Emeka Rollas was not left out.

Nollywood, or rather the umbrella governing body, AGN just like any other organization have had it own fair share of leadership crises. It might interest you to know the past presidents before the crises came up. Veteran actor, Zack Orji came first in the role-call of past presidents, followed by Ejike Asiegbu, and then Kanayo O Kanayo. It was during the tenure of Segun Arinze that crises erupted with Emeka Ike setting up a factional presidency while Ibinabo Fiberesima, the first and only female president held on to the position at the other end as soon as Segun Arinze resigned due to the crises. At this point it took the judgement of a Law Court to discharge Emeka Ike while Ibinabo was knocked off with an election which brought in the incumbent president, Emeka Rollas. AGN, Nollywood has been sailing like ship ever since then with the return of ActorsWeek, Actor Night and other functions which unites the organization. Emeka Rollas who is on a second tenure has also inaugurated new EXCOS who are believed to be partof Nollywood, or rather the umbrella governing bother AGN,.
The House of Virus Comic Man, MC Bobo Shakira whose birthday is 14th February, Valentine's day is set to upturn Barcam Hotel & Suites with maximum fun. It is also the reopening of the Hotel with the mother of all Valentine's day shows in Lagos.

It's been 1 year + since the P Square music band came back together after going solo over some disagreements. They have not relented in bringing back the vibes which their die-hard fans had missed. Their first show together after reuniting took place in December 2021, and ever since then they have kept it going. This video captured clips of their captivating rehearsal session and major shows while Mr P celebrated his daughter' 10th year birthday with the entire family, including their elder brother and manager, Jude Okoye, Paul his twin brother (Rude boy) as well as their families. Ofcourse the only person missing was Anita, Paul's estranged wife who dumped their marriage just as P Square was about to reunite.

The veteran Root rock Reggae and Highlife maestro with the stage name Rex Suru is at it again loud in Lagos with his band, The Cherubim Vibes. It's the annual One Love music concert which as usual takes place at Freedom park, Lagos Island.
Rex Suru is a Nigeria American based Super Star whose presence in the Nigeria Music scene has been consistent. He performs at the yearly Felaberation concert, sharing stage with Femi Kuti and other great musicians. It has since become a tradition to wrap up his routine tour in Lagos with the One Love Music Concert before heading back to his base, the United States of America.
The 2023 edition will be featuring still, Mazi Chijioke, Helena, Endy Ekeji, Dede Mabiaku, Dazy Flex, Dizuak, Deejay Raybee and others.
